Prem is a specialist in intellectual property litigation. He is a trial lawyer of 45 years standing and has conducted civil cases from the district courts to the Supreme Court of India. He has handled the portfolios of clients such as Daimler-Benz AG, Audi AG, Novartis AG, SmithKline Beecham, BBC, Kodak, Corning Incorporated and Needle Industries (India) Pvt. Ltd. Several judgments rendered by the High Courts and the Supreme Court of India in cases argued by Prem have been acknowledged as having laid down the law on the subject. For the past 25 years, Prem has specialized in litigation for enforcing patents, trade marks, copyrights and designs. He has also conducted several intellectual property-related alternative dispute resolution proceedings. He has extensive experience in franchise and license agreements, transfer of technology agreements and joint venture agreements.
